The foundation of life laid in childhood actually becomes completely strong and develops in adolescence. The benefits of this start being seen in growing age as well. Although this work is not easy, but its methods definitely make it a bit easier. There are some important ways to maintain beauty and fitness in adolescence and growing age, the details of which are being given below.

Regular exercise: First of all, doing regular physical activity is very important to stay fit and healthy. You can keep your body healthy by doing any sport or exercise such as jogging, swimming, yoga, or going to the gym. It is very important to continue it regularly. It should not happen at all that you do it sometimes and leave it sometimes. The right time is better if it is after clearing the stomach in the morning and two hours before the meal.

Right diet: It is very important to know the right diet in food. It is very important to take a healthy and absolutely correct diet. You should include whole grains, fruits, vegetables, protein, and adequate water in your diet. Avoid fried and spicy foods. It is also good to eat them according to the time and season.

Avoid sleep delays: Getting adequate sleep is also very important for your body. Delaying or negligence in sleeping has become a common thing. Young and old people need at least 7-8 hours of sleep a day. It is only during sleep that the body gets adequate energy and maintenance services. So there is no laxity in the matter of sleep.

Balanced lifestyle: A balanced lifestyle is becoming a dream in today's busy era. Being busy may be one thing but looking busy has also become a fashion these days. Avoid too much screen time, and give rest and rejuvenation to your body at regular intervals. This habit also leads them to vices like bad company and addiction. Also, do not consume tobacco and other intoxicants.

Health Care: In terms of health, it is very important to take care of your health and regular checkups. Consult your doctor and do not ignore any health problem. Your body, mind, brain, all need regular attention. Good fitness and good beauty is possible only with good health.

These are just small tips, tricks, ways by adopting which you can try to understand all the secrets of health. By adopting these simple measures, you can take care of beauty and fitness in your teenage and growing age. All this will help in maintaining your physical and mental health. Skincare workshop organized at Green House Cafe

The event saw rise in interaction and attendance as people are now shifting towards taking care of their skin in the city.  

The Workshop held in "Green House Cafe" Brands from South Korea made an impact like Accoje, Aroma Yong and Skindustry which is an online portal to many k- Beauty brands! Prakriti Mehra being a curato, creater & promoter herself brought all this to Ludhiana for the very first time.

The skincare workshop include basic skin routine, exfoliation, use of actives, importance of sunscreens and a wide range of dept knowledge.

Pari Thukral, from Fit Happy family gave an insight of how any kind of dirt effects the skin also emphasizing on adequate intake of vitamins and supplements.

Samita Dang from Skin industry, Delhi, came in to give a lot of knowledge about skincare, tools, face facials and alot of helpful insights to vitamin E, C & K and all about actives and acids to indulge in your AM-PM routine.

Megha Basant (makeup artist) threw light on face yoga and face exercise for a healthy skin.

Shweta Gupta (Makeup artist) did share her secrets to prepping your skin before makeup and how to remove it.

Brands like Celebrity fridge, The white Flower, Modere, Skin Industry and Wonder Skin were there to sell their products.

Dressing an in all white, and the beautiful décor by 'A wish away' (Sahiba Wadhwa & Harsoena Garg) was the major highlight of the event! Playing with Boho Vibes and neutral colors, the event did have a vibe of a Greek Aura.

Prakriti Mehra chose to wear a beautiful tribal dress from Paisley Trunk ( pooja Jalan) and accesdoried it with Pure polki earrings by Kanishtha Jain and all of this was styled by Palak Behl.(Stylist)

Overall, the event was a success showing an attendance of over 70 women.

Morning and Evening Routine

This routine is short but yet effective for those who have limited time in the mornings or evenings. Try to do it 5 times a week, and eat more fresh vegetables, fruit and whole grains.

Please note that as we are all different, therefore each of us has different body shapes. The aim for this routine is to maintain a healthy weight, and feel good about ourselves inside out.

Modern life can be stressful and sometimes it is hard to find time to relax. It would be a good idea to start the day with some positive thoughts and keep on smiling :-)

Start with:
Inhale exhale palms together
Inhale, stretch your arms up
Exhale fold
1. Hold at the plank position for a bit longer, it is very good for strengthening the abdominal muscles and toing up the whole body.
2. Inhale Cobra
3. Exhale Downward Dog
4. Now inhale and try to lift your leg up to the downward dog splits.
5. Lower the forearms down on the floor, this is good for toning the arms
6. The tiger pose: Inhale while stretching the leg backward.
7. Exhale while swinging the knee to the chest. This pose reduces the weight from the hips and tights.
8. Rest in child pose for a moment
9. The Locust: It strengthens and tones the abdomen, lower back and legs. Inhale one leg up and use the other foot to support. Breathe deeply. Exhale Lower, then repeat on the other side.
10. Inhale both legs up, breathe deeply
11. Now we start the sun salutation again
12. Hold at the warrior pose for few deep breaths. Repeat the other side.
13. Hold at the downward dog for few breaths.
